Most Helpful Negative Kartra Review
Sometimes pages can look a little off on mobile. Alignment can be just slightly off from what you’d expect to see. Some page builders are coming out with fancy dividers between sections. Kartra has not yet implemented this.
Kartra Affiliate Program
Kartra has two components that would be ideal for affiliate marketers: their in-house affiliate program and their Marketplace. With their in-house affiliate program, you can earn 40% lifetime recurring commissions for referring others to use Kartra.
Thru their Marketplace, you can see courses and memberships sold by Kartra users and become an affiliate. The commissions can range: some are flat rate, some are percentages, and they each have varying sale prices.
Both, the marketplace and the Kartra affiliate program can add additional revenue to your business.
Kartra has several different pricing plans. They price based on how many leads you plan to nurture with the platform, how many emails you plan to send, and have features that differ between their plans. They offer a 14-day trial for $1, then you’d start paying for the subscription.
With the basic plan, you would pay $99/mo and you’d be able to have up to 2500 contacts, 15,000 emails, 100 pages created, 20 total products, 2 helpdesk portals, 1 custom domain, 20 dynamic follow-up sequences, 50 GB bandwidth, unlimited pageviews, 100 total automations, and 2 membership sites. Other plans increase the amount of features you have. They offer the Starter, Silver, and Gold plans.
My Final Opinion of Kartra
Overall, Kartra is a good software suite. It offers a lot of features into one plan, so if you know you don’t like having several subscriptions, and you’d prefer one, then I think Kartra could be worth looking at.
I don’t think Kartra replaces content management systems like WordPress. It’s not a blogging platform, so it would be difficult to use Kartra to attract customers using the search engine optimization strategy and ranking on Google. WordPress would be the best option for the SEO strategy. Kartra would likely perform best for people who use Youtube or paid ads as their primary source of traffic.
Kartra may also be expensive for businesses who aren’t generating much traffic or revenue yet. I wouldn’t recommend it for companies who can’t keep their operating expenses (excluding payroll and only including tools, equipment, and cost of goods) to less than 50% (with the Kartra subscription included). Instead, I’d recommend companies whose revenue isn’t suitable for an investment in software tools like Kartra to use WordPress and take a look at the alternatives listed below to learn how to get started with that.
In my opinion, Kartra is more of a subscription that you’d upgrade to once you’re generating revenue and able to expend more cash to improve sales conversions. If you’re generating sufficient revenue and you want to give Kartra a try as an option to increase your sales conversions, I think it would be something worth a try.
